I have heard a few different rumors about what is going to happen after christmas for the div 3 teams but can someone confirm for me? I have heard that the top 4 teams will play each other again and the bottom 4 will play again. If this is the case how is promotion going to work? will it be the winner after the 2 rounds are complete or will it be the winner after the extra games or are the top 4 teams doing a round robin and the winner from that goes up??
thanks,

Lol, because we have lives I guess - and there are lots of things happening. Sorry nobody responded within 72 hours.....heads are going to roll! Hopefully if you are panicking to get information you go through your team or score recorder first - not strictly rely on this Board where you and I look the way we do. OK, now that I have vented - probably more because Italy is done vs your snarky remark, I will move on.
After the rounds are complete enough where division placements are set, the split will take place and then games will be scheduled and posted. All games posted after the split will still go towards finishing points and either the division championship or the cellar dwellarship. If you are placed in the bottom half, you cannot finish higher than a team in the top half.....even though you may end up with more points.
Notes: - Get your makeups in and scheduled or else we will have to do it......double headers are an option as the rest of a division is waiting for those games to be completed for the split to happen. - Talk with other teams and come up with solutions so the League doesn't have to make those tougher decisions without all the inside knowledge that individual teams have. - Snow and weather - pray that last year does not happen again.

If it makes you feel any better - we decide before we go to the Strath. (Hm, maybe we should decide after the Strath though......whilst getting a Mr Tube Steak, calling for a cab, or driving down the front stairs of the Club)

Here is how the home games will work out. Want more home games - finishing 1st or 2nd is key.
Home team is listed first.
1 vs 2 1 vs 4 2 vs 3 2 vs 4 3 vs 1 4 vs 3

Crazy to think some teams could travel to powell river 3 times in one season if you include cup play..

Could even be more. I remember when I was a kid, the ferries got cancelled on 2 different occasions when we got up there........we had to turn around and come back home.

Crazy to think some teams could travel to powell river 3 times in one season if you include cup play.. And just imagine, you could have to travel that same distance for half of your total games!?!? Makes Powell River look like a bunch of total suckers that the league has a vendetta against! -aliability
