First gorge vs Sffc Last time these two met it was a close game with gorge getting a late first and second half goal. I see gorge getting the W a bit easier this time 3-0
Alberni vs River Canceled
Jdf vs pl Canceled
Hellas vs castaways I see this one game of the week Hellas can score (and complain) Castaway seem to only want to win a game when they feel like it 2-1 Hellas

Just to clarify... we consider it debating.. not complaining. You should see us around a dinner table, it's just how we communicate.
That's is all,
Thank you,
aliability
ps- still don't think anyone should be bringing their kids to game for obvious reasons...

Gorge vs SFFC : gonna agree that Gorge will take this one, SFFC are young and quick but not enough grit, GORGE 3-1
Castaways vs Hellas : Doubt this game will be played as it is on Topaz and it is a s**tty field at the beat of times. But in the event it does get played i'll agree, match of the week, will be a battle to the end, 2-1 Castys
Cancelled?
Cancelled? Are they both confirmed cancellations?

Greeks win 3-2.... bit of a "spirited affair"... Hellas got up 3-0, with 2 in the first half and a 3rd around 60' or so. Then the lights went out... not just a metaphor and castys came out with a quick two goals and the rest of the game was a cat fight... again glad no kids were out, and our manager is expecting a letter from the municipality of Langford for noise after hours.

Hellas v Castys
Cat fight is an understatement. The second half was a bit of a bloodbath with a Hellas player going down hard from behind in the dying minutes of the game. Jury is out still if it's a tear in the knee.
Lots of yellows. Castys with the yellows for the physical fouls, the Greeks with 3 yellows for complaining about the fouls. Story of the game. Looked to me the Casty game plan was to play a physical game against the Hellas and they did.
Lights went out for 15 minutes and that gave the Castaways some rest and they came back fighting getting 2 quick. They couldn't penetrate the middle so just kept crossing balls in and trying for something scrappy or winning corners to try the same plan again that way. It worked twice but unfortunately, twice wasn't enough.
I will say this: Having 5 or 6 Castaway players crowding around and chirping the injured player who was in obvious pain on the sidelines was pretty classless. The ref should have taken more control at that point and it shouldn't take the Hellas coach to yell at them to step the f@$k back! That was an ugly end to a game that was pretty good for the first 3/4.

Good god, although we expected it, you're STILL COMPLAINING! Hilarious.
And about the "Injured" player, if it wasn't Johnny Mavrikos laying there with 5 mins left in the game screaming like a little girl, there would have been a little more credibility to the "injury"... Seen him do it a hundred times. It wasn't a good tackle, but nor was it viscious. That being said, we dont like seeing anyone get injured so we hope, and can probably assume he is ok.

Complaining? Hardly. My post is I think a pretty good review of the game. You guys came out physical because you knew that was the only way to win against our side. I would have done the same thing. It's up to the ref to decide if the tackles are fouls or not.
But I stand behind my statement about all the guys crowding around the injured player. It was a s**tty tackle and the guy was hurt. Doesn't matter who it was. No need to crowd around him talking crap.
So if you think that's complaining then I apologize I hurt your delicate feelings. Kotex is in aisle 3.

Seen him do it a hundred times. It wasn't a good tackle, but nor was it viscious. That being said, we dont like seeing anyone get injured so we hope, and can probably assume he is ok. So a player with a torn ACL from a pointless tackle in injury time wincing in pain loses credibility to his injury? (That make sense)... Let me snap your ACL and see if it less credible because you make sounds to accompany the pain... Skilless players, like your bruisers, ruin the sport of soccer, and if a good ref would have red carded the first one this wouldn't of happened... If he spent more time reffing and less hanging out with the Casty's bench s**t like this wouldn't happen... Now the win and Johnny's playoff run are ruined, thanks to a s**t ref and s**t players that have no place on a soccer field... You plugs have no respect for the beautiful game, go play rugby and eat some more steroids... Also any self respecting ref who loves soccer would never have let tackles like that slide, there were 3 yellows all given on tackles from behind on Johnny... Procting the players, being fair and not showing bias is the refs job and I'm sorry but he failed miserably... This at the end of the day is a fun league and we all have careers and life to deal with off the field, there should be no place for injuring players because you're losing and angry... I'm Sick of bloody liars on here and people who cannot take responsibility for their actions and crappy refs on power trips... You ruin things for everyone... F@ckin learn to play soccer, after all this is a soccer league... just because you put cleats on and walk onto a field doesn't make you a soccer player... true players have a respect for the sport and their opponents... This has been happening way to much in this league lately needs to stop...

I do enjoy how justwait refers to himself in the third person. Keep fighting the good fight man! Keep these boards "liar" free and our fields free of powers tripping referee's. Not all heros wear capes.

true players have a respect for the sport and their opponents... Sucks to hear that a player tore his ACL. Hope he recovers quickly and doesn't need surgery. Gave me a good chuckle to read a Hellas player preaching respect for the game and opponents. Entertainment like that is what these boards are all about.

Just for the record, Johnny did not play our cup game tonight and will not be playing on the weekend either due to his knee injury from the Hellas v Castaways game. We are hopeful he will be ok and will be able to play in a couple of weeks. I don't care who it is, I hate seeing anyone getting injured in this league, whether it be one of our players or a player on another team... let's wish him a speedy recovery. Thanks.
