This will be a very interesting week; lots of good match ups and lots of important points up for grabs.
Castaways vs. Cermaq Cermaq, again, punishing the traveling teams with the 13:00 KO, but Castaways are a strong, experienced squad. If Castaways travel with a decent bench, I think they'll get a win on the road.
Alberni Athletics vs. Cowichan Red Arrow FC I think this will be a scrappy affair - both teams yet to get into the win column, and both teams will try and play a similar style. I wouldn't be surprised to to see a few goals for either side, but I feel like Alberni will weather the storm early and snag a late winner.
Gorge vs. Hellas This will probably be match of the week; It's a tough call, and I could see it going either way. These points will mean a lot at the end of the season.
Juan de Fuca vs. SFFC Boshka I won't throw a prediction out there, but the we're looking to continue our unbeaten form in the league.
Good luck everyone.

Castaways vs. Cermaq
Watched Castaways last year but I have no idea about CR. Lets say 1-1.
Alberni Athletics vs. Cowichan Red Arrow FC
Scrappy it will be. Enough sad.
Gorge vs. Hellas
Watched both teams this year so far and I give the edge to Gorge with a stronger bench. 2-1
Juan de Fuca vs. SFFC Boshka
Two teams I g=have seen as well and I like the way Juan de Fuca plays. 3-2 JDF
Suck it gaucho!!!!

JDF over SFFC, 2-0 Solid game. Hope the Saanich player is doing well. A head on head resulted in a very, very crooked noise.

Cermaq 2 nothing over Castaways. Nice game by both sides - no cards! Castaways a class act!

Hellas take 3 points in a two way battle 1-0 over gorge us guys. It is starting to seem like the Greeks don't particularly like ANY calls made by an "official"... Officiating was not a factor, but gorges' finishing certainly was...

Just to touch on the Hellas Gorge game aliability, Officiating was a "huge" factor as their goal was a mile offside....The ref was in the middle of the field and didn't even go over to the linesman with his flag clearly up....
But your right our finishing was terrible as was the grass.. No excuse as Hellas played well and converted their chance.
Looking forward to the rematch on the turf.
Cheers

Officiating was not a factor, but gorges' finishing certainly was... This coming from the side that was coaching their players to purposely hit the greeks so there legs would "swell up over time and slow them down"... Jeff Pakos (Honestly sounded exactly like something his Dad would say)... Anyways good game overall, grass was terrible... Turf will be nice, Ps. The Gorge Linesman's flag went up pretty much every time Hellas had a break, Reff made the right call not to fall for it... Have fun in week 5! xoxo

Good job justwait (Johnny Mavrikos), pretty hard to figure out my name by my login.....duh! Just to be clear I never said purposely hit anyone, my team can vouch for that.... Your CM rolled his ankle in the first half and all I said to my team was he will start to slow down as the swelling picks up.
Now take your lucky three points and whiny mouth back to Glasgow field (spent too much money on "ouzo" to find a decent home field), and we will see you next tilt!
Pak.

Hey, hey, hey, we take offence to that... None of our field money went to ouzo, everyone knows we would rather spend that money on tacky gold jewelry and shaving supplies... Anyways if your statement about "hitting, swelling and slowing" wasn't malicious I guess a few of us miss-heard you... Thanks for the lucky points, I mean you guys were just so good we cannot believe we actually beat you, we all were all so shocked that we all went and prayed our thanks to Zues and bought Lotto 649! Good game Jeff... (Just like keeping people honest on these boards is all )
