Ok if no one replies I'll stop posting. I promise...
Alberni V lakehill- Alberni who is this years team to beat by the looks of things could have their hands full against the blistering speed of the DeFrias brothers on defence... Or not... 4-1 Alberni.
Hellas V Braves.- postponed by the looks of things. Seems strange but what do I know?!
Prospect V sffc (the good one) - probably a game worth watching! Undefeated sffc will have their hands full with prospect... A team due for a win playing a team due for a loss. Let's call it a 1-1 draw.
West castle V sffc(the not so good one)- yeesh... Who really cares about this one? My money is going to sffc because no one loses every game in a season right? 1-0 sffc but more or less out of guilt....
Anyway have fun guys and play well!!!
If you don't like my predictions, then frigging SAY SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!

Ill reply to keep it interesting....
Alberni vs lakehill - should be a good one as lake hill been in a slump and need a turn around win but still 2-1 alberni
hellas vs braves - postponed?? im gonna say whoever has home field advantage is the winner. 3-2 either way
lakers vs sffc har - should be a good battle. lakers coming off 2 wins. team looking stronger by the game. if prospect can be strong defensively then 1-1
west castle vs sffc - i want sffc to get a win so ill say 1-0 sffc
play some footy boys

Lakehill 1-0 over Alberni. Not too much to say, they brought 13 or so and Lakehill controlled the ply thoughout the game. Could have had 3 or 4 but happy with the rebound after our worst game last weekend.

SFFC (the good one) 4-1 win over PL. routine win for Saanich. PL scored a pk with the last kick of the ball but were never really in the game.

SFFC over Westcastle. 2-1. Two 2nd half goals help SFFC finally get past the dreaded bye team in the standings.

Didn't make it to our game over the weekend vs Lakehill, and I can say the team was missing at least 4 of our regular starting 11 and had a brand new face or 2 out to try and fill in some holes. From what I heard though, Lakehill was a big strong side that played hard for 90 and deserved the win on the day. Look forward to the return game. There's the opening SFFC Dodge was looking for to grab top spot in the league.

Thanks for the credit for a hard worked game by us(Lakehill). I must say though, many guys who play in div 3 have played or could be playing in a higher division but for a lot of us committing to a higher division becomes more challenging with life getting in the way. Every week our lineup changes because our team has guys with other stuff going on. Do you think our roster was the same when we beat Hellas compared to the one that lost to Prospect or compared to the one that beat you guys? Nope! This is division three so missing guys is no excuse and shouldn't be used as reasoning for a loss otherwise every team, every week, could be on here crying about it. Looking forward to the return leg too.

I think El Capitan was merely keeping it in check so teams didn't get too carried away thinking they had beaten the mediocre Alberni team! Your right missing players in not an excuse and it is div 3 I just hope we both have our 'top 11' in the rematch so then there's no excuses ...... But then again that big long drive..... And the hills you have to drive over..... Once a season could have an impact lol
SFFC (the good one) now it's all in your hands! Win all your games the league is yours.... Makes for a fun away game for us if the title is still a prospect! Oh wait....... It's an away game though and the drive ........
Love from Alberni (The mediocre one)

So you're saying nobody should complain about that big long drive and those hills except you guys? Lol, I think all cooks was trying to say was be accountable for the team you send to any match. We've played at least 3-4 games this year without our "regular 11" but don't bother to mention it after we lose. In fact we probably have 10 guys injured right now and I doubt we will have a full squad up in Alberni, most teams don't.

I don't think we complain about the drive in fact we enjoy it it's a team bonding exercise and we get to stop in Sunny Duncan on the way home for amazing Takeaway food. And as for accountability I do believe El Capitan gave big ups and said that you deserve the win and didn't make an excuse about it .....
He certainly didn't whine about how many players are injured .......

LOL, you call el capitan saying that "I can say the team was missing at least 4 of our regular starting 11 and had a brand new face or 2 out to try and fill in some holes" before saying anything about our team or about how we played giving "big ups"....sounds like he was making excuses for the loss.

Look all excuses aside both teams know the real reason is basically because I wasn't there that week...... No excuses just cold hard facts
