As per the post on the VISL main page as of 10:22am Dec 18, 2017, the 2018 Masters A cup spots will be allocated differently than how Section 25 of the VISL rules and regulations allocate them. What is the point of having Section 25 of the rules and regulations if we don't follow them? Specifically the following" Teams will be informed of allocations and structure prior to the commencement of the season."
Section 25 IMHO is fairly simple and straight forward and there shouldn't be much debate around which team gets which provincial spot and in what order.

Will concede, this is another tricky situation that has been hashed out with plenty of spirited conversation at Board level.
We are unable to tell before the start of season how many BC Provincial Cup berths you / we get if we only get notified in November ourselves. (would have to search through emails to find exact date) If we are told in advance like we would hope/assume - then we would pass that info on to you as you would like. Obviously, getting late notice of the number of spots......with the addition of Masters B Cup - changed the framework with what we are dealing with. So we adjust, we make rules in the place where there is none covering a certain situation, and we go from there. And all that is per our rules and regulations and is stated as such in those.
I feel like we are going down a road already traveled. You can continue to post hear as that may be fun, or you can file a complaint with the VISL, or - you can file a protest with BC Soccer, then appeal to CSA, then to FIFA. Or......you can join the Board and help make decisions on situations that arise. I know of a position or 2 that will be open for next year.

Div 1 stated" file a complaint with the VISL..." I would hope I have already crossed that bridge. Appealing to BC Soccer, is fruitless, I might as well buy 13 flats of Lucky and drop them off in Sooke dressing room. At least my efforts would be appreciated. As for your comment "none covering the situation." In all do respect it doesn't matter if BC Soccer allocates one spot or hundred or a number in between for a competition Section 25 of the VISL rules and regulations clearly defines what qualifications requirements are for each spot.
