Let's get some predictions going
MID-isle vs Fernwood : from what I've heard, two quality sides here, but that's all I have to go on, shotinthedark here. 3-2 Mid-isle
Gorge Vs Castys : What's the word on this Gorge team vs the 3A team? Comparable? If so it should be a hell of a game.
Good luck to all

The 3B Gorge side is younger, for sure, and one of the only teams to give Mid-Isle a hard time.

The 3B Gorge side is younger, for sure, and one of the only teams to give Mid-Isle a hard time. The other one is Fernwood who draws Mid-Isle in the other Semi...... Mid-Isle vs. Fernwood....These teams have played each other twice to scores of 1-1 and 3-1 in favour of Mid-Isle...This game will be a battle from whistle to whistle...If any team is going to give Mid-Isle a run for its money it will be Fernwood....I think this game goes to PK's and the team that practice them the most will win....I"m not sure I want to predict a score but this should be the 1550s Match of the Week Gorge vs. Castaways....Gorge has had the priviledge of battling, in my opinion, two of the best Div 3 teams (Fernwood and Mid-Isle) over a four game period...Given the battles those games were, I think Gorge is well prepared for an apparently resurgent Castaways side....Castaways resurgency ends this weekend and, though close, Gorge will take 3 points here....3-1

We had Fernwood in our division the previous two years, and were knocked out of the Cup by Mid-Isle. I can't say enough about Mid-Isle's discipline as a team; they were the best Div.3 team we've seen. Fernwood is a classy side, that are well organized, but I think Mid-Isle will come out on top.
In the other Semi, while there are no points up for grabs, I do agree with your prediction on the Gorge vs. Castys. Castaways had a tough start to the season, but ended strong in the league. They were defiantly one of the toughest deference to break down, and played a direct brand of football that countered quickly and took their chances well. Other then the Us-Guys, I felt Castys were our toughest opponents; Don't let their record fool you. That said, we've played this Gorge side a few times, and I am sure they will be up to the task. Castys' Cup run reminds me a lot of our Cup run last year: we started the season well, 6-1, but ended up mid table after going win-less in the second half of the season. However Cup was a different story, we knocked off almost every top team on our way to the Challenge Cup final, and a Provincial birth, and ended up winning the thing. Cup play is interesting because any team can find their form and make a run.
