Alberni 2-0 vs Hellas Good game both sides fought hard the Jamaican sensation and el capitan step up and that was the difference. Who else made it from the other game? Could see a poll starting!

Cr vs Alberni should be a great game! Shame we both have to drive to Vic to play it!

Should be the game of the year as these two buzzing metropolises battle for the title of salmon capital of the universe. It's just a shame that we both have to leave our beautiful homelands and travel to a concrete wasteland to play in the finals without any home supporters. I think PA had a record breaking crowd last night, almost as large as the Hellas bench.

The Finals have, and always will be at a center / core park of the League. That is what people sign up for and what people should know if they get to the Final.
For a minute there, it was sounding like a team from Victoria whining about traveling North Island......pretty sure Hellas wants to play in the game if a team does not want to make the trip down Island.
Moaning aside, 1 more road trip, a chance to win the Cup which I am not even sure if PA has won before - and then a sniff at the BC Provincial Cup.....worth the trip I'd say.
The real whining will start if a Mainland team gets drawn to go to Port, CR, or even better Powell River. I must be a sick person as I am really looking forward and doing a lot of praying for some Island fixtures.
Good luck to you both in the Finals !

Well said div 1......that would be fantastic to witness the draw and 3 away games to the rivers and port, can you imagine the whining. Good luck to all VISL teams

In the BC cup will the four VISL teams be kept apart for the opening round? Are the full stages of the draw clear from the start? I am presuming 16 teams? What is the furthest possible location we might have to travel to? Appreciate any answers!

For the 1st round only - in this B Cup only - we for sure will say no VISL teams will play eachother. The 2nd round is then open and you could play anybody.
Leagues entered are from Richmond, Burnaby, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Metro, and VISL. Location wise.....I am demographically challenged to be too specific - but anywhere on the Mainland where the above Leagues play. Games must be between 12-4 pm on Sat or Sun. I have emailed team coaches all the info - the rules get turned up a notch for BC's. New rule this year that you have to have your venue and time sorted out and submitted pretty quick. Penalty for not submitting on time = losing your home game and the other team gets to say where the game is = $1000.00 penalty really.
Still working on our 4th seed as CR Cermaq won the Division and in the Cup Final.

May I suggest a wager in this all north Island final. 1 flat of Vancouver Island's finest Lucky Lager to the winner. I know the Alberni boys are sticking around Victoria for the night, so win or lose we will make the trip worth it. See you all at the Fox afterwards.

Some of the CR boys will also be staying the night after the final. We'll see PA out on the town win or lose... I'm sensing some lucky lager and salmon??
