We are in the middle of working out a deal with the Fraser Valley Soccer League - should add an interesting dynamic to this years all-star games. What is confirmed - games will take place on Saturday January 11/2014. We are hoping to have a division 1 allstar team from here play an allstar team from the Fraser Valley League. Additionally, we are also trying to arrainge a Masters component as well. Stay tuned for confirmation - but things are looking good to host that as we won the armwrestle to determine who will host for the upcoming year. We are thinking of our other divisions and ways to have a representation from all divs. A thought at this time is to have the defending Champion div 3's vs a div 2 team. As well, we would have a div 4 team vs a U-21 team. Makes for a long day, but we believe it would be fun - especially to feature the out of town teams between 12-4 pm.
Prospective coaches will be contacted soon as well a venue to host, and main sponsor for the games.
More info in September post meetings that take place on the Mainland on Aug 24/25.

I am eager to hear from the coaches of Division 2, please email me suggestions from your team (or others) and their positions. The Division 3 squad with 20 teams is not something to take lightly. Looking forward to the emails please send them to neall.rowlings@corix.com Thanks in advance!

I am wondering if the list is done for VISL all-star team? If so, do we get to see it?

Division 2 All-Stars - we have our wish list, I have contacted all of the coaches and confirmed that some have accepted and declined, however not all of them. What is the process do we send emails to the coaches and to you vince, or do we just post it on here?

Oh Neall I thought you said assistant TO THE coach, co-coach is even better!!
In all seriousness, I appreciate the invitation, it is always an honor and privilege to coach in these games and I'm great full for the opportunity.

So Neall needed someone to coach the guys on how to steal game balls ? You can't teach kicking a ball into the bushes you know, that's natural talent !

Is it a liquor advisory role that Justin has been assigned? The guys Jager bomb form will definitely benefit.

I think I m going to try to catch a Lakehill practice where they line the guys up and work on give and goes, and what that is one guy passes to the other and the ball goes into the lacrosse box!!! Hampton has a lot of places you can launch balls!!
As for the liquor advisory role, I do plan on running a session in the hampton clubhouse post game and its not just limited to the Div 2 all star team. Proper Jager Bomb form is in the practice plan!!
